What hat should I wear with this?

I have a jacket similar to Indy Magnoli's in his thread on the "open road" jacket here http://thefedoralounge.com/showthread.php?t=20525 but with epaulets and a more military feel. I'm finding it a bit difficult to think of a topper to go with this jacket.

Any advice?

My gut impluse would be to wear a tan, brown, or similar color whippet or whippet-clone. I don't know why, but it screams c-crown fedora to me.
The choice of a cap also works, but I'm more of a fedora guy.

Art needs to update his site, it still show 5 Hoosier left and has since before I got mine in May.

A rust colored fedora with a 2 3/4" bound brim, 5 1/2" c crown, and a green ribbon would look very nice with that jacket.
