Only flat brimmed hat I’ve ever had.
Not sure it’ll stay this way.
Early/mid 60s Stetson 3X in a light cream color I’ve never seen on a western.
Was very dirty and had a cattleman’s crease so it wasn’t easy getting the dirt off the raised crease area on a light colored. Still dirty here and there, but we’ll call it character and real world patina.

Ive got a couple 60's flat brim Open Roads that have really grown on me over time. One still has a cattlemans crease, and the other has a more ferora-ish side dent. Nice change from the normal western or snap brims

Great looking Stetson 3X, Randall. The colour really stands out in that glorious sunshine.

I agree with Rick: I'd keep it flat brimmed. But it's your hat, so I'm sure whatever you decide, I know it will look good, my friend.

Really, rally nice afternoon here! Hanging around outside with a turquoise Hemp Stratoliner, one of my favorite shirts (poor shirts about 20 yrs old and starting to look grey) , and big bloody maria ( out of vodka so its made with spiced rum) AND ITS A NEW PIPE DAY! Got a new big ol Peterson B42 in today. nice big apple shaped bowl. Burning up a first bowl of Boswells Northwoods... Life is GOOD!

IT WILL grow on you! Id vote to hang on to it as well!
Thanks, fellas!
Might see how it grows on me, or I may sell it as is and see how much the next owner likes it! :)
I’m not sure I want a cream colored western.
I love my cream colored Vogue, though!!

I fired up the steamer the other day and did some maintenance on all the hemps and straws so theyre ready to grab. Supposed to be 80 today, and I have a new pipe arriving today so Im planning to plant my rear in the sun, make a big bloody Mary and fire the pipe up. Im Soooo glad spring looks to be here
Funny you say that - I just had a Michelada! Haha... :D
