Alright, I've got the bug now. Saturday is supposed to be 71 and sunny here. I'm going to start the yard-work I wanted to do last week and I think I'll break out a straw hat for it.

It's a beautiful sunny day and I'm out and about in my new to me Tonak Seal Velour. The felt on this one is as luxurious as it looks and it absolutely glows in the afternoon sun ! Thanks to Stefan for the tip on this 'un as well as another beauty that has yet to arrive.

Doing some reconnaissance on Lover’s Bridge in my Akubra Bushman. We are getting close to that time of the year when the ice is off and the rivers aren’t yet blown out with spring runoff. The fish are hungry and extremely aggressive during this narrow window and all manners of fly fishing are typically highly productive .

Heading out this morning with the new Beaver Major. Looks way better with a ribbon and bow. Kind of looked nekkid when it got here yesterday . Originally was thinking about a 3/4" ribbon, but decided to go with a wider 1-1/4" ribbon that covers up most of the moth nibbles.
