Thank ya sir !Nice vintage OR Timmy
Eagerly looking forward to seeing what you do with this one, Rick.My favorite mailman showed up with another "missing" box today (10 days of "arriving late... in route to next destination" on the tracking updates)
A fairly clean ( and inexpensive) Beaver Brand Major in a nice med dark grey. Nice soft, light felt... fits great. 2-1/2" brim. No ribbon, and has a few little moth nibbles, but a 3/4" ribbon will cover all but one of them. Time to brush, steam and work a couple brim wobbles out.. Then Ill see if I can do some ribbon experimenting without stabbing my fingers lol. Ive got several different shades and sizes of grey and black ribbons out on the table... we will see what screams "pick me!" the loudest. Fairly lightweight felt, so Im thinking I may even sew on a brim binding
I love new project unboxings!

Terrific looking porkpie, Jeff. Eerie as hell that it arrived today.Crazy story. On January 24th, I placed an order with Agnoulita Hats with some credit I had, in the hopes of trying out a new style I'd never worn. I liked his display of it, made a few modifications and placed the order. It arrived today. View attachment 685139

Suh-weeeeeeeeeeet! Is there a tinge of blue in that grey, or is just the lighting?New Dobbs Twenty sold in Little Rock.

Has a great look to it.I'm wearing my Jack Lord Paramount again, this hat is really growing on me after Randall's restoration. The shape of the brim has some serious personality now, and a nice new sweat.

Alright, I've got the bug now. Saturday is supposed to be 71 and sunny here. I'm going to start the yard-work I wanted to do last week and I think I'll break out a straw hat for it.Woo Hoo! 79 and sunny today! Way better than the 17 and wind we had a week ago. Grabbed one of the Hemp Stratoliners off the wall, fired up the old John Deere, and beat my winter rye grass into submission for the year. Nice to be able to wear the straws again... I missed them over the winter.

Love this hat Story!!! It's kind of a back forty-to-banquet, rugged yet really classy hat. Great addition.
