What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

This afternoon I'm piddling around the house in this Courtney Five Star fedora with controlled brim. The felt is soft and dense yet molds easily by hand.

Another absolute winner, Timmy, as well as another brand I wasn't familiar with.

Interesting. The "Controlled Brim" is a Dalton patent. They put a little rubber tube in the brim edge. The ones I have look sort of look like a Cavanagh edge treatment. I've never seen one with a bound brim. Not that I've seen many at all.

I was just going by the stamp on the sweatband. It appears to give a Patent # but I can't make it out, even with a magnifying glass.

I grabbed the first hat out of a box today for lunch with family. It ended up being my best one: the 7XCB. Perfect for a reunion with loved ones.
