Well, colour me jealous. What a thing! Super hat.A Borsalino Light Weight in Cobalto color, and it already had my name in it.

Thanks, Reggie. It is an interesting one. The ribbon treatment made me pull the trigger.Great group of hats last week, Stefan The Rehfus? I’m intrigued. I love it.
Nice subtle blue colour on that one, Rick.Mystery Blue Hat Saturday! Not really sure what it was because there were no tags when I got it and it had some sort of hand tied scarf band and a big white goose feather stuck in it lol
I do know its a fairly heavy navy blue Sovereign felt Stetson something-or-other, with a welted edge. Made up a more appropriate grosgrain ribbon and bow and stuck a bit more civilized feather on. ( I MAY redo with a slightly smaller ribbon... just havent made my mind up yet) Its a wonderfully soft hat and feels great in this morning's 34 degrees. Not the nicest hat on the wall, but it checks the box on the "blue hat" column

Because you need petting hats in all colours!Blue hat...did I hear someone say blue hat ? Lol.
Here's my blue hat today... a Biltmore Rondelay long hair fedora made in Canada. Not really the shape hat I prefer but I simply couldn't pass it up as I don't see alot of long hair BLUE hats. View attachment 678286 View attachment 678287 View attachment 678288 View attachment 678289

Sounds like a wonderful field trip, Robert. Enjoy! We are of to the Cathedral City of Salisbury. The cathedral https://www.salisburycathedral.org.uk/ dates back to 1220 and survived WW2 bombing, almost unscathed.

Tina wants to visit Franklin's, a fabric store, after which we will call into The Hat Shop. https://the-hatshop.co.uk/
I promised that we will dine out this evening. There's a pub/restaurant in Salisbury that she loves, called The Haunch http://haunchpub.co.uk/ It's reputed to be over seven hundred years old, and has a reputation for being haunted. As there's no time to get home to change, we will have to dress to impress before we leave.
Franklin's know Tina well, but I haven't been there before, I have, however been in The Hat Shop many times. They made the bespoke hat that I'm wearing, to compliment the made to measure blazer, both of which, are favourites of my lady.
