Well dang.... this was going to be in the "Hats and Drinks" forum, but Mr Moose and his tennis ball knocked over a healthy sized Bloody Mary right as I sat down outside. Oh well Guess its a Pennys Towncraft and pipe thing instead lol

Love the Towncrafts! I've been looking for one that fills some voids in my color/shape needs, but so far have not found the right fit.

J. Hückel´s Söhne "Extra" "Leicht" possibly late 1920s. The Black Felt has a Smooth Finish which is less common and is light weight and in great condition. I found this Soft Felt back 2021.

In the leaflet we will give you 6 impressions and we kindly ask you to please send a zinc plate mounted on wood with a total pressure of 24 mm as usual.

With urgency, we kindly ask you to make the plates immediately, as we need them by the end of this week.

Sincerely

I think the best description of that hat, for me, is "dashing"! And thank you, as always for the fascinating bits of hat history you provide us.

Good to hear of your travels Nathan. Bangkok sounds much safer than most large cities in the USA... especially @ 2:00 A.M.

I've spent time in Bangkok twice before, so I'm not a rookie to the city, but this is the first time I've been out enjoying the night life and I'm floored by how safe it feels. And invariably, if I feel a certain aggressive energy, it is ALWAYS from a western tourist or some other foreigner. Thais are some of the most amazing people I have met - brilliant, confident, and beautiful - but at the same time humble, hospitable and very down to earth.

I will miss this place like crazy... I haven't felt this inspired in many years.

Shot of sunset over Sukhemvit last night.

It's fancy friday!! (Little thing my gal and I are trying to kick off in my historic town).

C.1900s Stetson Paired with a custom jacket made from a c.1900s pendleton blanket, c.1933-1935 trousers. She's wearing a repro late 40s dress.

Have a great Weekend, hatted family!

YOWZA!!!!! That's a stone cold beauty, Joe!!!
Thanks Mark! It’s got a few moth nips here and there (they can’t seem to resist these fuzzy hats) but it ads to its charm really. This hat once belonged to a former Chief of Police in Poland during WWII who saved countless lives helping them escape. I have two hats that belonged to this gentleman. It is always an honor to wear this hero’s hats.
