Been kinda grey and dreary the last couple mornings...thought Id add some color and head out under one of the cowboy conversions today. Nice little 4x Stetson. I like the wide ribbon, but thinking this one is destined to get a ribbon update with a campaign bow soon. Probably downsize to a 1" ribbon. Really like the look of those

Back from coffee and errands. Had the chance to draw an young fellow at the coffee shop into the hat addiction today. He usually has on a floppy Dorfman Pacific wool Indy-ish hat. He has commented about liking several of my hats in the past. I had promised to help him find a nice hat at a good price... Today I took a couple different black hats over and gave him one of his choice .... he picked a Black Sovereign Temple ( I had two of those) . I do believe he was happy lol

Back home trying to enjoy a final dry afternoon before the weather changes tonight. Changed into one of the Stetson Gun Clubs and fired up the pipe out back. Watching the bright sunny sky dissappear and turn all grey. Broke out one of my Nordings and some Sutliff Vanilla Custard. Smoked some stronger English blends lately, so I thought Id make the patio smell a little better with an aromatic for a couple days

Good old Petitgas. I'm worried once Bernhard retires of the old store will survive. They recently closed the oldest butcher shop in Copenhagen. They kept wearing derby hats all the way until the last day. A shame.

I share your concern, Cormac. Though,
the butcher's shop closed because, among other things, the owner of the building put up an exorbitant rent, corona, and inflation. So economic challenges.

Petitgas is a nationally preserved building, so the rent is low. Hopefully, someone will take it over once Bernhard retires.

Good evening all, long time no see! Life seems to come at you hard and sudden.
Health issues with myself and immediate family tends to put your focus on other things. Along with that, I made the mistake of taking up fly fishing
