Fantastic hat, Simeon. Great colour and nice wide ribbon.Yesterday I was driving through two inches of snow, today it's over 50 degrees. Crazy weather! I have a day of clean work, just some bidding and calls so I get to wear a nice hat. Today I'm wearing my John Batterson felted edge, it isn't marked as a twenty but has an original $20 price tag.

Through the gnashing of my teeth I have to admit that is a stunning looking Knox, Jonathan! Thanks all for the likes and comments on the Biltmore and Texas Hatters. And now something a little more in the spirit of Stingymas that came to me a while back by way of @BobHufford, a 30s (NRA tagged) Knox:

Yes, Stefan (@steur), it has undertones of green.
I like that one brim up, Gary. Sometimes they just roll that way.Today’s Stingymas post is a jet black Tirard. Ragondia (nutria) felt from the ‘50s, with a 5¼ cm brim. Unusually for me, I tend to wear this one brim up more often than not. View attachment 665574 View attachment 665575
Love that one, Timmy. The brim curve makes it something of its own, between a lords hat and a pencil curled western. This morning my lid of choice is this open crown western style hat from Jackson Hole Hat Company in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

You do make good use of those mood swings, Jim!Proudly weighing in as the Grinch of Stingymas, yesterday I wore a CD that was as black as my grinchy heart.

Love for the black hat. Excellent, Steve.
Nice hat !!The more I think about it the more I have a vague recollection of having seen one before and not known what it was. Regardless, I couldn't get the idea out of my head and decided my next would have one. I bought it tonight. Selentino. You all are getting to be spendy associations.
That’s a beauty, both inside and out. This morning's offering for Stingymas is this Hückel with 1 -3/4 inch brim and wind trolley.
