Here we are on a fairly serene afternoon in the valleys, but foggy south of Verona.

Fourth hat in black. This one also comes from France and brings with it very little information.

No trace of the lining, if it ever existed, there remains a tiny remnant of something that was attached to the inside. The sweatband has only one indication embossed with now faded gold trim "The Perfection" and nothing else.

The felt is a wool-fur mix and the shape is well-shaped like the hats in vogue between the first and second world wars. light and very malleable it is a pleasure to wear it

Great find - Really clean! Looks new in your pics!Yesterday I was driving through two inches of snow, today it's over 50 degrees. Crazy weather! I have a day of clean work, just some bidding and calls so I get to wear a nice hat. Today I'm wearing my John Batterson felted edge, it isn't marked as a twenty but has an original $20 price tag.

Thanks! This one really is practically perfect. I strongly suspect this hat was probably rarely, if ever, worn.Great find - Really clean! Looks new in your pics!
Wow that is a unique looking hat, Daniele. It has stately aristocratic appearance. Would you call it a short brimmed Homburg? I am not too familiar with Parisian hat manufacturers. Thanks Reggie. I agree that it is a great hat
I have a hat to show you. I was inspired by your evening attire.

1 1/4. Wow any shorter getting into that fez rangeStorm front getting ready to blow in her. Figured Id best get this posted before we lose power lol. Today we have a 1-1/4" brim Champ Featherweight. Cute little thing in really nice shape except for the previous owners name in big letters all over the liner. Oh well, I guess he was proud of it and didnt want anyone walking off with it!

This one looks very much the same build as my Royal Coachman. And similar body to the four seasons. It seems HCA did a lot with these 1 7/8 Cavanagh edge bodies in this era. That branded wind trolley button caught my eye. Is it functional or is it just on and elastic loop like the Twenty’s had?Rain is trying it's best to mess up picture taking activities this morning but I toughed it out for my contribution to Stingymas. Knox Hallmark Series with a
1 7/8 inch brim & custom edge gets the nod !
