My second contribution to Stingymas is the Véritable Feutre de Poil from an unknown French maker. The brim is 5cm. This one came to me from Daniele. The heathered felt is paired today with my facial hair!

Aromatic right?
This weeks all aromatic. When it gets cold again later in the week Ill probably rotate back into some English and spice. Have some Boswell Northwoods, Petersons Nightcap, Petersons Early Morning Pipe, and some old 965 ready for cool evenings

After giving the Stetson wool some love and attention yesterday, it gets to go out for coffee this morning. The curl made a dramatic improvement both in appearance and it structure ( the brim is actually staying straight now lol)

Its a Stetson Montes 3x wool. For being a lesser hat, it ended up being a decent looking lid.

Thinking it needs a Buffalo Nickel concho hatband

Pretty much the only way to get Boswell is to order straight from their website. Not sure how they handle international shipping but Im sure they would be glad to let you know about any restrictions or added costs. They do have some nice sampler packages ( big bag with 1 oz little bags of different tobaccos)

These days I seem to be using a lot of MacBaren blends out of Denmark ( the Vanilla Creme loose cut, and Vanilla Flake are both nice)

10X Bradford Las Vegas model in Silver Grey originally sold by Pecan Valley Western Wear & Saddlery in San Saba, Texas got the call to action today.
( Try saying that 3 times fast.lol.)

* feeling kinda tired this morning because I sat my alarm for 3:30A.M. this morning because there was a hat on Ebay over in Australia that I wanted to place a " last 30 second bid " on. Worked out well and I not only won the auction but I got a nice old 3X Stetson fedora for cheap !! Yes sir....my kinda deal !! Last 2 pix are a teaser for y'all.

Amazing transformation Rick !! The pencil curl really came out nice and as you mentioned...it really adds some strength and structure to the brim.

I love multi hat auction deals. Sometimes you get a second cheap beater hat, but sometimes the " bonus" hat is actually really nice. Ive actually found a few really good auction deals on the Salvation Army store in Austrailia. Found a couple Akubra hats that were evidently Austrailian market only models that werent sold over on this side of the ocean. The last two actually made it all the way from Oz in less than 10 days. Post office here cant accomplish that from 100 miles away lol

Very nice heathered felt, Gary.

Sweeeeet lid Gary...love those heathered felts !!
Thanks, guys. I was lucky enough to have Daniele sort me out with two beautiful heathered hats about three years ago. I would venture to say the other one (a Huckel) is the nicer of the two, but this is the one for Stingymas.

Love the hat!
I believe the unknown maker may be Chapeaux Morreton. Looks similar to others I've seen.
Thanks. I’ll have to do a search for Chapeaux Morreton & see if I can find other similarities. I wonder if @Daniele Tanto (who sold me the hat as an unknown) or any of the other of the Lounge’s European crew has an opinion.
