Sunday's here again and since karma prevented the Dobbs two-ouncer to sit on my head, I have to make do with the ones I've got. The Dobbs found a good home with Timmy @TimmyV.
Let's see what I do have for consolation ;).

Great googly moogly, Stefan! Could you POSSIBLY make the Sunday choices any harder? (Or more magnificent?) :D

OK, the Echter Mayser in first place, by virtue of being a nearly PERFECT fedora, the Fabroc in second for its MAGNIFICENT ribbon color, and the Lock & Co finishing a very strong third, for its AWESOME heather felt.

As always, thanks for making Sunday mornings the best part of the hat-week!!

Welcome to the FL, RR. Love that lamp.

Nice looking hat. In what way has it been modified? Can we see the inside too, please?
I trimmed the brim down from 6cm to 5, and reshaped the crown from from a center-dent to more of a teardrop. The pic with the white background is from the Sterkowski website and shows the original shape of the crown. I used the hat block shown in the post.
For the money ($98 dollars U.S.), the Mosca is remarkable quality. The rabbit felt is rather thick, but with a little wear it becomes very soft and supple. Also, it is my understanding that Sterkowski is still family owned and has a very admirable and rich history of hat making.
