J. Hückel´s Söhne "Flexible" "Rauh" possibly later 1930s. The light weight Rauh / Rough finish mélange felt is fantastic. The hand is very soft with not much nap. The overall condition is great. I found this Soft Felt back in 2020.

J. Hückel´s Söhne, Display Cards, 10 cm x 4 cm, possibly mid to later 1920s. I found these Disply Cards back in 2019,

Here lately I've been drawn to the large brim western style hats. Here's my latest addition to my collection, a Stetson Open Crown 4X Beaver with thin ribbon hatband and last drop liner. A previous owner added the rawhide wind strap with deer antler. I have a pencil curl tool on the way & will try it out on this hat once it arrives.
Hope y'all have a good 'un !

Another Sovereign Stetson Temple. This one in Caribou color. I LOVE the color, but this one needs some attention... its WAAAAY stiffer than my other Temples. I posted it in the "ASK A QUESTION" section for softening suggestions. Beautiful felt... just too stiff. Sigh... it looks good, and definately holds it s shape... maybe i should just wear the heck out of it lol

Very nice, Timmy. Anxious to see the results of your brim curling!

Nice looking hat, Rick!

I’ve tried many different ways, but the only way I’ve found to work is a full tear down and soaking the hat body in hot water for a good while. But then ya gotta reblock and sew it all back together, so, not a good method on a hat that doesn’t already need anything.

Im thinking this is going to be a "wear it" and "age" process. Ive wondered if a massager might vibrate things loose against crown or brim blocks Hummm?

Also included a photo of my latest bread concoction. Been teaching myself to be a bread chef! As if I need extra belly rolls. :)
And a stitched brim to boot!
