Have to run out to Rural King to get some storage containers for my hats. My collection has way out grown our 500 sqf of living space. Putting most of my hats in our dry enclosed crawl space, and then I will swap boxes as I wear them. Hooe this works out.

Waring a different Royal Deluxe OR. A bit stingier brim and a wider ribbon.

Per doc’s orders, I’m cutting back on my morning caffeine by 50%. Today began with half cup of coffee under a whiskey colored Art Fawcett felt.

Interesting hat. I know that ORs once came with wide ribbons/bows, but that was a long time before they started putting plastic liner tips in hats, no? And that small brim size isn't standard OR either, is it?

Looks like a great hat, though, and suits you well.

Good luck sorting out your hat storage situation. I had to stop collecting - I ran out of room!

Actually, there's no mention by the doc about alcohol reduction. Half coffee, half whisky, Irish style. Perfect. I agree about the rather good fedora.

Officially I am retired, but a phone call a month or so later from a former account, with the opening question: "What are you doing?" Has now got me back to more work than retired.

This morning, after a long briefing, I covered at a meeting, for a manager whose wife is about to make him a Daddy. The meeting was at a client's place and with my car in for service and brakes repair, Tina needing her car for Covid jab appointment, all I had was one of the company vans. Hardly the image!

My mode of transport had an amazing reaction at the client's place. Everyone in the office came out, phone cameras galore and everyone with a silly grin. None more so than their general manager. He was always a dour looking fellow, but was delighted to sit in, then drive my car, around his car park. I even put my Sovereign on his head, it was the right size too. Here's my car and that Sovereign.

Think i’ll call you “Quick Charley” from now on.
We may be getting older but when it comes to our coffee, let no man stand between our bean and our brain.
My Doc said only 3 cups per day so i bought an expresso machine. It took 3 of those little pots to fill a mug.
Yuk yuk
Art’s hats are a treasure, Quick Charley.
