YAY!!! I finally get to participate in Whippet Wednesday! Scored this mid-50s beauty just before the movers arrived, and haven't had a chance to show it off yet, but I'll be wearing it proudly today!

This morning I'm wearing a Stetson Royal DeLuxe St. Regis in Brown complete with windcord. While not the typical crease you see on these I mimicked a really old St. Regis I have ( that has stars in the logo ) that came to me like this.
Hope y'all have a good 'un !

Good morning from a cool Fall morning here in Minnesota. Temps now above 50'f (10'c) find me enjoying warm coffee. My Stetson OR has been my hat throughout my morning shenanigans.

The rain today kept temperatures down, so I pulled out the Fed IV for work. Felt should be possible for the next two days, also. A couple more straw hat days forecast for Sunday and Monday, but apart from that, I think the felt season is finally here in Japan.

You are very kind, thank you. The casual shirt came along too and what good fortune it did. Salisbury has a magnificent cathedral, some friends we know were married there. Today they were celebrating their silver wedding anniversary with a short ceremony, then, they more or less repeated their wedding reception. The big food spread, the venue with a dance floor, a band. Believe me, it got hot, that Aloha shirt made another appearance.

I have to agree with Timmy, sir. You ALWAYS look spendiferous, but I would have opted for the casual look today, given the eye-catching splendor of that aloha shirt.

Heading down into Houston tomorrow for a friends funeral. Had to test fit the suit to make sure I dont have and surprises when I put it on (2nd time in 5-1/2 yrs I put on a suit) Im debating whether to wear a hat due to the heat, but both the black Temple and Black Bogart do look good with it. Of course its a Texas funeral so I guess I could wear one of the nicer Open Roads
