And today, finally, a day still warm enough for straw…Etsuko in a Panama…

…but cool enough for an unlined felt. I have been itching to wear this Barbisio I got from Stefan @steur when it was already too hot to wear it.

Telescope crown. It came with an extremely grimy liner, that I removed and cleaned, but will likely not put back in.

Very happy with this one. What would you call the style? A stingy Gambler?
A perfect day to fire up the barbecue, so I changed to my Akubra Cattleman.

Variable days with sun alternating with clouds, often the light is magnificent.
A little hot for the period, but acceptable.

Borsalino of recent production, no name of the color and even less of the hat, but this is one of those rare gems when I speak of some precious stone that is still produced in Alessandria.

For all observers of Borsalino production: I repeat, look around carefully before buying and then despising the hat.

Thanks for your appreciations that I reciprocate with a single load of likes.
Now that is just about the perfect hat for autumn, Daniele. Superb.
Hello my fellow hat enthusiasts. I have been away for a while. I am glad to see that the hat show continues I have a lot of catching up to do. Last days of straw for me. I just need the energy to pack them up and put them away.

Magnificent selection, but the Dalton takes it for me. Love the colour combination. The Dobbs really pops in the sunlight, too.

Yesterday I made a trip over to Buckaroo Hatters. A gentleman came in the shop and I noticed he was wearing a Campdraft.
( you know how us hat guys are … we notice things )
After he looked around for a bit then went up and placed his order, I later found out it was his 2nd Buckaroo hat. We he finished I struck up a conversation and found out he was from Pennsylvania and a member of the Lounge. I somehow missed his screen name but Mark, it was a pleasure to visit with you!!!
I am wearing a black Buckaroo and Mark is sporting a Campdraft .

Good to see you too, Stefan. As usual your weekly hat selection is fantastic. I can’t decide on which homburg I like the most. Life’s difficulties

Another gorgeous Sunday lineup, Stefan. I'm going with the Mayser, the Dobbs, and the McAndrew, in that order. Thanks for sharing!

The hatband on the Kevin McAndrew is so wonderfully flamboyant, how I love it.
For style and an air of sophistication my choice has to be The Dobbs. The coat
and scarf are rather good too.
