Had some things to get done in the garden this morning, so out there early. Nice, cool temperatures (that won’t last) and a spectacular looking morning made the garden work a pleasure. The regular summer garden hat was in use (Tula palm straw).

This shirt upstages the bespoke Gamble & Gunn hat, the baggy trousers and the saddle shoes. From a distance it looks like camo, but close up reveals a rather more saucy image.

We are blessed with some lovely late-season sun, and the Hufvud Leifur was the choice for the morning errands.
Now that is one spectacular sunrise!
Missed last Sunday. I have an excuse though: I was in France (more on hat in another thread soon). Took just one hat with me, the Mossant Bleu Oxfort, so I added some of the scenery for interest.

I'm with you on Resistols. They're my favorites too, along with most others that are made by Byer / Rolnick. It's hard to beat those hats for quality. They're among the best made. Think of Bradford too, another fine hat by Byer / Rolnick. Same as a Resistol. Can't go wrong with Byer / Rolnick hats
My conversion of a red liner Bradford Western to a thin ribbon fedora.

Steur started us off with some beautiful black hats and exotic scenery. I can't begin to compete with the background but I do have a Black Stetson Stratoliner that came to me with a Blue hatband in place covering the original black thin ribbon hatband, complete with the JBS airplane pin that I would like to share.
