A Royal Stetson Custom V with a triple stitched overwelt brim. When I purchased this I didn't even realize it was a Custom V. I thought I was just buying a nice Royal. I must say it is the nicest Royal Stetson I have.

You have an impeccable style of your own, Stefan, emphasised on Sundays when hats of the week are posted.

Tina & I are off to a wedding blessing. The hat that I am wearing is that of a hat company known as Susquehana, I have had it almost as long as the happy couple's marriage.

Friends of our's are celebrating their silver wedding anniversary. We will all meet up at the church where they were married, then onto a traditional wedding breakfast, followed by music and dancing. They have actually booked a big band, the band might be amateurs, but I'm glad that I'm not picking up the tab.

What an amazing parade of hats we’ve been having - every day new treasures on display.

I have been incredibly busy this week with family events as well as moving out activities, but this morning I met up with my nephew and his band mates one last time before they head back home to Ohio. My nephew just turned 21 and that’s partly why this week has been so busy.

Of course I chose my best hat to meet these kids: the JBS 7XCB. Not a great shot of the hat but at least this photo is something a bit different from my usual fare.

Just under three weeks before I leave and still quite a lot to do. Happy weekend friends.

Good morning folks. Grand parade of hats of late. Cheers to all who showcased their hats!

This mornings soirée about the neighborhood was taken under the brim of a VS Stratoliner inspired fedora. The dove felt with charcoal trimming is stunning in person.

A Stetson Open Road was the perfect hat for enjoying hot coffee in the 59'f (15'c) temps.

It is an "Aquanized " Stetson.

A Stetson Casual was my hat choice when I started a lamb roast on a slow charcoal grill and a couple yard chores. The minty hat was a perfect work companion.

Weather forecast now showing the path of the storm eye to pass within 10 miles of my little east texas town. Estimating 8-10 inches of rain before the end of monday. Ive got my Marine Corps Sun Helmet handy in case I have to run outside with the chainsaw ... closest thing to a hardhat that I have lol.. The rigging fits fairly snug, but Im thinking of rigging up a chinstrap... Common Mother Nature... BRING IT ON!

That pith-helmet should do it, Rick.

Stay safe in the storm.
