Wonderful golden brown looking straw, Bill.

Love the unique geometric ribbon and bow treatment design.

The liner is a beauty in its own right. Very reminiscent of 1920s/30s Boater liners.

Never quite seen a straw like it.

Anton Peschel Neutitschein / APN, "Kristall", possibly late 1930s. This hat is from a 9 hat (APN, JHS, Echter Borsalino) find that were all sold by Julius Reiter Eger / Cheb Czechoslovakia. APN Soft and Stiff Felt Hats are difficult to find. I made this find back in 2021.

Anton Peschel Neutitschein Liner Stamp, possibly 1930s. I found this Liner Stamp back in 2015 and it was part of an 82 piece find from the Czech Republic.

I got some more moving out done today. A little bit at a time will do it - I’ve got four more weeks before I leave for Asia.

This is another one of my work straws - just some random hat I picked up at a Boot Barn a few years back. It gets the job done but I don’t think it’s particularly attractive or inspiring… though I am glad to have it. The inside label says “Atwood Hat Co.”

Outstanding Rusty, thank you! The personal touch endears my hat to me a bit more for sure.

I have to say that the sweatband is really very nice and it’s a very solid hat. I just don’t care too much for the shape (short crown with noticeable front-to-back taper and a shovel brim). But the good quality is why I like him as a work hat and why I purchased him in the first place. I would definitely check out other hats from Mr Atwood!
