TONAK "Lestand" probably mid to later 1950s. Really like the color combo and the form. This Soft Felt is from my May 2016 NOS Czech Find.

I received the following gifts from Tonak when I visited the factory for the Tonak / J. Hückel ´s Söhne Employees 220 Years celebration (September 6, 2019).

Janyška "Praga" possibly late 1930s early 1940s. The felt has an Chamois like finish. This Soft Felt is from my May 2016 NOS Czech find.

Half width Sweatband.

My May, 2016 NOS Stock Find. There were 20 hats (Brüder Böhm, J. Hückel´s Söhne, TONAK, Janyška) and 4 hat holders (Anton Peschel Neutitschein, Brüder Böhm, Janyška). All of the hats were NOS open crown and range from the later 1930s to late 1950s. Including a couple rare Brüder Böhm Soft Felt Wool hats and a Brüder Böhm hat holder.

Janyška & Cie. was started in the 1920s in Valašské Meziříčí – Krásno about 25 km from Nový Jičín / Neutitschein where J. Hückel´s Söhne, Brüder Böhm, and A. Peschel Neutitschein were located.

As amazing as the first I saw those pictures. The dream of every collector.

We had visitors from Australia staying with us on Sunday night. I took Monday off also to spend time with these great friends.

Previously my go to hat for this Art-Deco shirt was a Biltmore straw.
Sadly, The Biltmore has seen better days, so until I get a replacement
my bespoke felt will have to suffice.

The hats of the week. Hardly a peeking eye this week as I've struggled with an inflamed eye for most of the week. No fun that. The hats were fun though.

So sorry about that eye infection Stefan, it's always so difficult not to touch or rub it, I do hope that it clears up quickly.

We are off to church shortly, I will show you which hat I have chosen for today's service when we get home later.
