SHOOT YEAH!
Good job!
Love the end result, hat band and the crown shape!
I’ve had to do that several times; because of the same reason.
I have been most fortunate in that the two times it has happened it was my hat I was working on.....never a vintage, beloved hat of a client. Both times it was crappy machine stitching on the sweat....stitches much too close together so the felt was degraded right from the onset of the stitching.

My absence, your great show of hats
Compliments to all the loungers
Uncertain weather. It is springtime at all
Milky light with blossoms everywhere

Many changes of weather during the day. it is quite raining an hour ago, now sky is clear

Today the felt hats could be placed in storage, but in these very early springs it is a risk.
This is a distant proposal that has to do with felt hats in the fickle spring. Better to wait :)

Banjo band. Too cool.
With banjo bass?
And banjo drum?
Who knew?!
Just wish at least one of em was wearin a fedora, then it’d be perfect!
Cool indeed, Randall. Never seen a banjo bass like that before.

Some people refer to the banjo as a drum with a stick on it. If you play frailing style or clawhammer like I try to do, you can get a percussive sound on the head by following through with the thumb.

The lack of hats was disappointing, but the beards added to the coolness :)
