Northwest Hats today.

I have left off shopping for hats and have taken up suit jackets, so a number of shots these days include me testing out new wardrobe items.

This is a linen Joseph Abboud safari style jacket. It’s a tiny bit big but it looks just about right with the sleeves rolled up.

Not sure about this shirt and neckerchief though.

The ensemble looks mighty fine to me, Nathan. All nicely matched, contrasted, and interestingly complimented.

Great looking North West btw.

Thank you for the encouragement Steve! I will definitely like this better without the neckerchief, but it was too cold today to go unbuttoned.

The Northwest is an oldie but goldie. It’s been all the way around the world twice and shows the fatigue, but I still love it!

Oldies but goodies are the best, Nathan.

For me, the red neckerchief adds a nice bit of contrast to the blue of the shirt and the earthy sand colour of the jacket. The pattern gives it that little extra touch of panache.

A thin ribbon Thursday for me today with Adam Hats Premier Quality Mainliner. This was Adam Hats take on the Stratoliner and I’d put it up against just about any of the Strat-o-likes I’ve come in contact with. Really incredible when you think you could get a hat of this quality from Adam in the 1960s for just $9.95

You have a great Adam collection, Joe!! (And a nice patriotic outfit today, too.)

Question: what does “TAR” stand for in “TAR Tuesday”? I can only make out “thin a** ribbon”. A search didn’t yield an answer.
