Dropping off a pan of cinnamon rolls to the neighbor (my wife made way too many as the first batch didn’t meet her standards). The house is from the turn of the last century and was my wife’s Grandparent’s when they first bought property down here (they built our current house in 1969). They sold this house and five acres to a buddy and his son has it now. The bell was from a one-room school not too far away — the school is long gone.

1930s The Stetson Special.

Wonderful 30s Stetson Special, Bob. Your wife's cinnamon rolls steal the show though.

They're one of the most popular pastries in Denmark. Here, they're called cinnamon snails, for obvious reasons.

You'd both be welcomed with open arms if ever you're in this neck of the woods :)

That hat is, quite simply, breathtaking.

Thanks Voodoo!

You're getting mighty good with those brim curls, Terry. Keep up the good work.

I'm finally back at it again after a short bout with some kind of flu or illness of some sort. I did a quick practice run on this 4X Stetson refurb. I don't know how I'd classify this one. I got the idea for this hat style from what I think was a Borsalino. It now sports a 6 inch open crown with a Center Dent and a 3 1/2 brim with a pencil curl. I did a thin ribbon with a Borsalino style bow work. I also gave the brim a slight swoop in the front.

This place is the best! All these great hats and all your way-to-cool clothes. I've been having so much fun reading through all the old posts but this thread is definitely my favourite so far! Such an inspiration!

Today, I had this unassuming ol' brown (60s/70s?) Stevens on. Perfect for a day of kickin around with the dog and doin a little clay shooting
