Another recent score from the Bay, this Resistol has no dealer imprint on the headband (which is looking pretty ragged) and the info tag has also worn to shreds. Similar to their Las Vegas, but not an exact match. In any event, the Association crown shape (along with its overall worn state) suggests another 70s to 80s vintage.

Great hats, Gary. The Crosby (Kaufman) bowlers are very fine hats and mine may be the oldest in my collection.

Crosby & Co bowler for me, with a rather less substantial leather jacket than yesterday’s Schott. I’m not entirely convinced about Etsuko’s new iPhone’s portrait mode.

Etsuko wore her Panizza back bow we got from Daniele. View attachment 582374
A picture of the back bow, for Steve.

Later, I wore my Fed IV to grill a chicken liver pizza.

I’ve never had, or even heard of a chicken liver pizza before, but we had some fresh livers, and Etsuko thought it would be good to try them on a pizza. It turned out really good.

That is a homburg color combo I don't yet have. *Thanks* for giving me another hat for the Get List, Joe!

Dobbs Homburg for our night out to see Sal "The Voice" Valentinetti of Americ’s Got Talent fame.. Our kids had gotten us the tickets for Christmas. Incidentally he was the entertainment at an Italian Heritage Festival that was the last thing we did pre-pandemic. He has lost 150lbs since then.

With temps nearly at 10'f (-12c) I am back in hats this morning.

An Adam Mainline was a grand choice for a walkabout. This is thin ribbon fedora has a unique flange to the rear. When the front brim is snapped down it emphasizes a big rear curl.

A Lee Commander fedora was the perfect hat for enjoying my morning coffee.

Best wishes, Eric. -
Both great. I love my Adam Mainliner. If I remember correctly it may have been my first thin ribbon. For a hat made in the 1960s it really has that more earlier Strat vibe with the nice boxy crown.

My first hat fix of 2024 arrived today. A collection of hats from the Dutch Master.

There were more in the mix than I'd bargained for. I thank you for your generousity, Stefan.

Straight out of the box, I chose to wear this Flechét Chauvac earlier today.

Stefan describes it here.

I love the shark gill bow, so I'm keeping it grubby for the time being.
