Today's hat is, again, nothing special as to quality or historical significance, just another good-looking westerner that I'm fond of. It's a wool felt ("30X"!!) Potrero, Hecho en Mexico, that I picked up in a western wear store in my no-longer-tiny home town of Lodi, CA, about 15 years ago during a one-day visit.

Wonderful looking Satellite, Randall.
Thanks, pal!

Looks like a powder blue in colour. Is that so?
Yes, there’s a slight blue hue, and thanks, pal!

There’s a Satellite in my orbit, Randall. I need to dig it out. The word “Satellite” was written in pencil on the tag under the sweatband. Prototype, maybe?
Thanks, Charlie!

Yours is a beauty!

Thanks, Charlie!
I just looked and didn’t see any writing.
Only a Hat Co label and an onion skin sweat blocker. The came in one of those fantastic Satellite hat boxes, though!

In a short break from the pouring rain I wore this Stetson, I think it's the only one new that came to Italy to sit on my head

Absinthe color Sage, size 7 3/8 in the USA and 59 centimeters in Italy - Europe

A few years ago I had the opportunity to buy the hat in a year when the Stetson collection had some very nice hats.

I'm glad to have it here. I've always thought about changing the ribbon, but then the original remained.

I really like the color and finish of the felt and the combination of colors.
The weather has changed quickly and the clouds are low and full of rain again.

Now, though, I need to find out where the other Stetson that I have in my collection lie
Have a nice day!

I just watched a driver slide right into a parked car in front of my house (not my car, thankfully). It’s still an icy mess out there in Huntsville and we probably won’t be done with it until next week.

Worst part for me is no mail - my new Borsalino has arrived in town but I have no way to get to it!!

Stetson 20 to assuage the pain.

Nice to see an American hat among your great collection. I too like the color.. and I’m glad you stuck with the ribbon. Great looking hat, Daniele.
