Thanks, Mark. I think I've only known of two or three, and one of those is the one Mr. DelMonico returned to the factory because he didn't think it was good enough to sell to me.

Took me nine months to get this one!

I has the exact same thing happen with a Premier Whippet in natural, I ordered through them.......came as a special order and arrived with some awful ribbon work and stitching hanging out all over the place....so got returned as well.
Then they said it would be a years wait....so I canceled. Did finally find a good one after over two years search.......

StingyMas Day 5 almost got past me (I’ve been splitting firewood all day). I was losing the light so grabbed this Sears Pilgrim for a five minute visit to the Poodle Corral. It’s a lighter gray than the pics show. It sports that optional “foxy” liner seen on quite a few hats of the era.

A very comfortable hat and I love the colors.

This guy hits right on my stingy line - but is the line in or out?

I’d wear this guy more but the crown is also too small for my taste. It actually looks like a cowboy hat for a small child. It’s terrific felt, I just need more of it!

… or a Stetson Stratoliner Milan. I’m just trying to see the differences. Any thoughts from anyone?

I purchased the hemp stratoliner and when it came the fit was way off- my 7 1/4 fit like it was at least a size or size and a half bigger. I had to return it. I was trying to determine if I should re-order a size 7. Availability and time made me give up… at least for this year. Next summer’s a new season.
