Have to say goodbye to my restored Turf Club. Someone who has never hung out here really wants it more than me, if all goes as planned.
Figured I’d post for its most likely last time.
Guy actually wants about 6 of my best collectibles. Then more come spring. Didn’t really want to sell any of my personal hats at this time, but hey, the profit is really good.

Surely you have a good beater around the place, Terry :)
Wearing my revamped Bradford Western again today.

Later I'll be wearing a ball cap to take the dog out since we're getting all day rain here in the Central part of the Buckeye State. I'll save my good hats and post my drenched ball cap in the 'Hats Surviving the Elements' thread.

It's a miracle! Or an impostor. No way "pork pie" Rick could be under a 10 Gallon!

December 1st means the return of the hairy green Dobbs with Improved Felted Welt Edge (another WWII era roundel liner crest hat):

Of all my hats this one is the hardest to accurately capture the color, my phone camera always struggles. The green is rather muted due to the rainy, overcast skies today.

Muted sure looks great on you, Jonathan.
Great lookin hat, bro!

Yessir buddy! I do have a few good beaters. I call them, ballcaps! A guy's gotta have a ball cap every now and then for special occasions, like for Ohio State football games. Although, I put my Ohio State ball cap back in the closet when they lost to Michigan again for the third time in a row. So now my Ohio State caps are going to be beater caps since they can't beat Michigan! ;)

Nice color and nice feeling of the fur at touch. The hat feels firmly and with quality made. Very happy with this new acquisition of mine.

Probably more of a "Spring"-colored hat, but wearing a new-to-me Lamson Hubbard Pastel that I rescued from an antique mall. It's got a few bites and the ubiquitous green stain, but it's super-comfortable and I like it. Note the unusual band stitching on the outside of the hat-- is this normal???
