Had this one pulled out for a TAR Tuesday or a Thin Ribbon Thursday…. But I thought It prudent to wait till the semi tropical storm we had the last few days blew on out. Today was just the perfect day for it.

One of my very favorites…. Late 1930s to early 40s Stetson Select Quality - A Pre Open Road/Strat if you will.

Putin's daughter lived in the Netherlands for years; married to a Dutchman. He didn't come over much back then.

He probably has a lot of them.
Why would a Dutchman marry outside the Netherlands? Dutch women are extra-extra beautiful. Their skin has a better hand than a Stetson Ermine! Oh! The memories are haunting.

This is one of the best hats I have from "Cappellificio Cervo", felt and finishes are superb.
The size is 61 centimeters or 7 French Points or 7 5/8 in the USA.

Unlined and with blue felt ribbon.
The felt is consistent and with a dose of wool inside, otherwise its name would not be Loden, a typical wool fabric (Tyrolean sheep with the addition of merino wool in modern times)
