While I did do some more work this evening and as much as I admire @Short Balding Guy Eric and wearing some of his finest hats to work his property… I just can’t bring myself to wear this one when the dirt is flying.

C. W. Borchert Berlin W., possibly 1920s. C. W. Borchert Berlin W. was a high end hat store that sourced hats under their brand name. I know for sure that they sourced from Rehfus & Cie (Kehl a. Rhein). The internal size stamp is similar to what R. & M. Wegner used. It's made of Fur Felt and has high quality components. I found this Stiff Felt back in 2019.

This Stiff Felt came from the seller of this really fantastic P. & C. Habig Wien "Special", P. & C. Habig's "Special Qualität" Reine Handarbeit Berlin Friedrichstr. 82a Homburg.

The seller was the wife of Arnulf Meifert the original drummer of the progressive Krautrock band Faust. "Dr. M" was Arnulf Meifert's father who was a well known Berlin "bon vivant" of the 1920s and 1930s.

Good work BB, on a very nice vintage Stetson straw. I wouldn’t have wanted to lose any more of the patina by lightening the Milan straw any further either. Looks real!

This old Wormser makes it into the rotation quite often. It has had many different crown shapes while in my possession. I like it's current bash and it will probably stay this way. Nice color, nice brim curl, sweet brim binding, sassy brim dip in front and a telescoping crown ala Pork Pie'ish.

Royal Stetson made under license in England, so by Failsworth of Manchester.

I truly believe this Manchester hatmaker were making a better Stetson hat than who ever it was who took over the Stetson name in the 60s.

Brüder Böhm Wien "Derby" possibly late 1920s early to mid 1930s. Brüder Böhm produced both Wool and Fur Felt Stiff Felts and this one is a Fur Felt. Brüder Böhm who had factories in Vienna, Austria and Neutitschein / Nový Jičín, Czechoslovakia. Great looking Form with a very tight Brim Curl. This Stiff Felt is near NOS condition. I found this Stiff Felt back in 2021.

Böhm Hat Holder possible later 1920s - 1930s. I found this piece back 2016.

A beauty of a bowler, Steve. Fabulous to see the never ending parade of fine bowlers.

I wore my new Resistol San Antonio this evening and I took the doggo for a walk when it cooled down a little.

J. Hückel´s Söhne "Plume" possibly later 1920s. This is a very light weight Stiff Felt that wears like a Soft Felt. Has an unusual Form. I found this Stiff Felt in 2012.
