A nice grey CC, Eric. I like my brown, but a grey is on my get list.

Yesterday I got home from some traveling and enjoyed the evening wearing a PHD fedora.

Today's walkabout I enjoyed under the brim of a Dobbs Cross Country.

Morning cold brew coffee I enjoyed while wearing a VS Weston (inspired by the Stetson Weston (a Whippet with different brim treatment). The silvermist beaver felt is stunning in person.

I completed a couple errands this morning after switching to a Gannon Beachcomer (inspired by the Stetson Beachcomer).

I changed to a long sleeve shirt and pants to cut vines and weeds from under trees, hedges and from fence lines. The Sunbody hat was a perfect hot project hat. Soaked with water it was cooling. The work hat took a hosing off and is drying.

What a heartwarming photo, Alan, wonderful, just wonderful. Almost forgotten why I came here.

Burgundy blazer 003.JPG

This bespoke hat I had made to wear with another blazer, it does go quite well with this one. Maybe one in a mustard colour might suit better.

Yesterday evening I enjoyed wearing my Newt panama.

This morning I scampered about the neighborhood under the brim of a Stetson Royal DeLuxe Stratoliner. It is one of the top 10 on my hat rack. The unique ribbon treatment is easily trumped by the quality of the felt. A dynamite hat that I wear gently. Today's 55'f morning temps were the perfect occasion.

Bouncing around under the trees and bushes I loosened the wind cord.

Morning coffee under the brim of a Stetson Stratoliner. This silverbelly hat has a more common ribbon treatment.

I switched to a Gannon Playboy (inspired by the Stetson Playboy) for yard chores.

I picked up fresh bread at the bakery in a Stetson Open Road. I grilled breakfast and enjoyed breakfast in the cooler morning temps. The 2.75" brim of this hat provided excellent shade.

More chores found me switching to an Akubra BGCD. I got a pic of the hat near my implements of destruction.

34 is HOOOT, especially in Europe where the infrastructure is not built for that. I spent 10 years in SE Asia where it is mostly 31 degrees except for the months of March and April when it hits 34. The difference is remarkable.

Here's hoping that won't last long and also that your home is on the ground floor!

It only last for 2-3 days and yes, my home is on the groundfloor. ;-)

Walkabout today with the Stetson 25 OR.

There is something a bit off about this hat so I use it as a beater/work hat. It doesn’t really look good with any other crease and the brim won’t really do much else besides this, either. We’ve had some adventures in the semi together, though.

Anyway, it’s kind of a cool feeling to have top line vintage felt that I don’t coddle.
