Wearing a 1920s-era lamppost on top of a Fifth Avenue hats custom.

Penumbra panama. A difficult choice Stefan, Europe is enjoying seriously hot weather, but you haven't let standards slip, the collar and tie is witness to that, but in this heat, felt hats are just too heavy. I wore something similar at church today:

An olive coloured straw, made for a green blazer.
Thank you, Robert. I do have some very lightweight felts, but at these temperatures it can only be straw.

Mayser "R", made for Johann Zehme (Royal Bavarian Court Supplier) München Rathaus, possibly 1920s. It has an offset bow which is the only one I have seen on a Stiff Felt. This one of my favorite Stiff Felts and I found it back in 2015.

Partial View of the Brim Curling and Binding Department, Mayser Ulm (1925). Similar time period as above Stiff Felt.

I've been neglecting one of my straws lately because of several recent new straw purchases, so I'm giving it some attention today. It's my Stetson Plastic Bucket, AKA Latte Florentine Milan.

Y'know, looking at that hat, it doesn't have the same look mine had. I had two "Florentine Milan" Stetsons, purchased in about 2014-2015 or so. Both were coated with a "glaze" of some sort. Yours doesn't look the same - my Andover and Strat were shiny. Yours looks much different. Perhaps they've backed off the coating.

I finally finished up my Dobbs Western conversion for TAR Tuesday. This one was sent to me by a generous Lounger friend. This is another dimensional brim cut. 2 3/4 front to back, 2 5/8 on the sides and flanged on a #19 brim flange for a sleeker profile. Following Rusty's suggestion, @RBH, I gave the crown a Center Dent. I went with a contrasting thin ribbon and an OR style bow.

Before: Off the block and the brim trimmed with a quick dry center dent crease

Outstanding job as usual, Terry. The color is great too.
