J. Hückel´s Söhne "Flexible" possibly early 1930s. Great looking Form and superb Silver Gray Liner. I found this Stiff Felt back 2011.

A truly wonderful early 1900s Bowler, Steve. The lettering on the sweatband is certainly art nouveau, which befits the period.

I especially love the brim flange curve.

C. G. Wilke Guben "Helios" possibly 1930s. This Wool Stiff Felt is in excellant condition. Great looking Finish and Form. The Liner mimics the Sun so probably the reason for calling it "Helios". I found this Stiff Felt back in 2018.

You never disappoint Stefan, such a magnificent collection. This week I shall go with your first choice:

For a long time I was after a Stratoliner in such a colour, former Lounger Esther Weis solved the problem by making me a clone. Well, not quite a clone, but similar.


The Stetson Sovereign is my choice again today, (it had a most wonderful compliment last week, look up what others say about your hat wearing,) The Sovereign inspired Tina to compliment it with the double breasted waistcoat and wide fitting trousers. The lady does me proud!

I really like the shape of this old big boy.

Sadly, the hatband was toast, so I'm on the look out for a replacement.

Meanwhile, Big Bill's the perfect gardening hat.

I was immediately enamoured by it when Bob originally posted it back in March. It just had to be added to my collection

I started my Sunday as soon as the sun was showing itself over the horizon. A walkabout in a Stetson Stratoliner was my first effort.

Morning coffee while wearing a Mallary Dallas.

I made some hummingbird syrup and put the first feeder out. My internet reading showed that they have started to be seen in my neighborhood. The Orioles and Grosbeaks are back. My "work" Stetson Stratoliner was my hat choice.

I got a car wash and then picked up fallen limbs under the brim of a carmel hued Stetson Stratoliner.

After cutting the lawn, filling feeders I enjoyed sipping a pilsner waiting for my grilled breakfast. An Adam thin ribbon and gilled hats were worn.

A Stephan Stetson fedora was put to work after a shower/change of clothes cutting the picked up limbs.

It has the Carter Detatchable Sweatband.

Since the weather in my neighborhood is to be sunny and warming up I have a "To Do List" to attack. Being outside will be enjoyable.
