Now you’re just rubbing it in. California has some of the most expensive gas in the country and a couple years ago we voted to increase the fuel tax. Real estate, gas, electricity, state income tax, etc…this is an expensive place to live.

This old hat has seen gas go from a coupla bucks for a full tank to $5 bucks per gallon.
Who knows, this hat may have been preowned by a rich oil tycoon!
And it sits on the head of someone who has take out a loan to fuel up.

Now you’re just rubbing it in. California has some of the most expensive gas in the country and a couple years ago we voted to increase the fuel tax. Real estate, gas, electricity, state income tax, etc…this is an expensive place to live.

Brent, I live in Rhode Island. Everything is expensive here. Our electricity and natural gas rates increased by 50% last year, and property taxes increased by 20%
The gas price in my neighborhood is close to $4.00, but I work close to the Massachusetts state line and their gas tax is much lower than RI, so when I'm close to empty I jump over the line and fill up.
