Had this 3X Beaver Quality Last Drop out for A bit of yard work…. And a “Side by Side” with a nearly identical Borsalino. Without an OR designation and with the tri-cord ribbon it’s not an Open Road though aside from those two details… they would be the same. So I guess it was likely a slight upscale model from the OR I have this one in a sort of 4 Corners Tug Boat.

Mossant is one of my favourite French hatters.

Dobesch are like P.&C. Habig, not often seen and hard to come by.

Did some more dimensional brim work on this Az-Tex Western that a generous Lounger gifted to me a while back. It originally started out as a way too small 6 7/8 Western. I blocked it up to a 7 1/4 LO mid-ribbon fedora. The brim had a mind of its own after I flanged it. The sides curled up too much to where the brim didn't want to snap down properly. The dimensional brim cut took care of that issue. Front to back, the brim is 2 5/8. The sides are 2 1/2 inches.

The videos are pretty low quality...

On the head. The color's not accurate under this light.

Has anyone in the northern hemisphere been brave enough to dust off the straw hats yet?
This blazer was made for straw hats but the weather needs to warm up.

I have thought about it a couple of times but then Mother Nature decides that we need some sleet and freezing rain.

I rarely post the hats I wear to work because it would be the same five hats over and over, but when we have something special happening, I like to change it up a bit. Today, I wore my silverbelly Camp Draft because our sixth graders had an online exchange with our sister school in Australia. Hence the First Nations’ art tie.
