One of my favourite Victor Borge skits, Gary. He always had me laughing out loud. One of the greatest things to come out of Denmark. And what a dresser! Here’s the photo.

I downloaded from your link and then used the attach files function.
We had something similar in my childhood home in New Zealand, but wider with a turntable. Dad had a few albums. Elvis, Johnny Cash, and the Seekers spring to mind, but my favourite was his Victor Borge album with his phonetic punctuation.
You may be right. My nephew (early 20s) couldn’t find anything to laugh about in the Two Ronnies’ Four Candles/Fork Handles skit. Not even a slight chuckle.I think I had a copy of that Victor Borge piece.
It was pretty funny, or at least people thought so then.
Not sure how funny folks think it is today.
That is a bad a$$ Scoble!!!Brought out my Noble Schoble today. See the Schoble thread for more photos.
That is a real looker, DavidBorsalino Gorasgu. I reshaped this hat with a bit of steam and love the way it came out. It’s a 1950s hat but to my eye has a bit of a 1930s look with the tall straight sides and wide ribbon. If anyone has a grey gorasgu in 7 1/8 that they want to get out of the house—let me know!
Weather gets a little cooler after today and I am ready for it.
Cheers,
David

Welcome to The Lounge, that's a fabulous sombrero, I was so taken with it that I checked out Akubra to see if there is a straw version. They do a larger brim straw, but the price increases by fifty percent for carriage cost to the UK. https://www.ebay.com/itm/273120117267Akubra Sombrero. The wayward leaf in the crown was only noticed when i saw the photo!
