Thank you, Robert. The pose came about when I was trying to get a better view of the hats (instead of my face) for the photo. This kind of worked, but my face is still in the shot;)
Wish Tina well from me. I have some experience with a trapped nerve and that radiating pain and numbness is no joke.
The perfect look for that wonderful steam train, sir. Glad to see the trip cheered the missus up a bit. Hope she's feeling better soon.
Looks like a wonderful time. I hope she gets to feeling better
Thank you all for your kind well wishes, I passed the messages on only to be told: "Don't go telling the world about my small problem, Robert." However, the lady said it with a smile.

We do enjoy heritage railways and dressing up is part and parcel to the experience. This photo of Tina was taken just before the pandemic broke, it was taken at another railway. The black & white sepia lends itself to the era.

Her hat, not easily defined in this shot, is actually an old trilby of mine, one that I just couldn't love. She removed the ribbon, steamed it and remodelled it to wear more like a fascinator and a rather good job she made of it.

Indeed she did, Robert. Anyone with that much style, taste, and talent does not deserve to be in pain. May your better half be well soon.

Hufvud Bogart in Emerald Grey was my hat choice yesterday. It is such a wonderful fitting hat and the reindeer sweatband gets even more comfortable with each use.

Have a safe and blessed evening.
Steven

Such wonderful waves and flows in that Hufvud, Steven. Only in Scandinavia can you get a reindeer sweatband.
Well, maybe in Canada, too. :)

Fabulous collection, there's something extra there too. The 'look.' It's a great assertive pose, just peering out from under the brim. In my managerial days I would strike a similar pose by peering over the rim of my specs at some miscreant, watching him squirm knowing that I don't believe a word of his cock & bull tale.

Tina has been feeling rather low of late, she's suffering from a trapped sciatic nerve, giving her much grief in the derriere. (No pain in the ass jokes please.) We are lucky to have a couple of heritage railways within an hour's drive. One way they keep income coming in out of season is to serve special meals and at this time of year it's a traditional festive fare. We enjoyed such a lunch yesterday and although the weather was cold, the sun shone bright, it made our day.

A look is worth a thousand bends and thrusts...err...words.
Well wishes for Tina.

Always a treat to see a weeks worth of your hats! You have some wonderful specimens and you wear them with real aplomb.
