Sunday best Bill? The way to go my friend. So good to see the effort for a Sunday.

What a great photo, you both look amazing.

Yesterday we drove out into the countryside in the old MG, we dined at our friend's 17th century country inn. I just couldn't make up my mind, given the warm sunshine whether to go felt or straw. In the end, Tina decided. She also came up with a very clever solution as to what to do about the cream baggy trousers she made me. They were impregnated with who knows what at the dry cleaners. Tina's solution is to dye them in the lighter blue of the blazer that I'm wearing.

Normally very camera shy, here's the clever girl that makes so much of what I wear and you all compliment.

Thank you ever so much. You and your lovely missus are quite an inspiration.

Thank you for your appreciation on yesterday's Borsalino / Fleur.

Today another hat arrived on sale from Tonak and refitted by Fleur.

The felt, very beautiful, had not been finished and had an uneven surface.

Appropriately treated, this "Antilope" surface has taken, which in the Czech felts is magnificent
Tonak M 5.jpg

The shape has remained the original one, except for a softening of the crown which had been preformed by machine and was a bit too banal

Happy Tuesday from Verona with the sun and a cool wind.

Super nice, Alan! If you don’t mind my asking, how many of that brand do you own?

I’m working on a late 40s Schoble for a client that is in great condition, but needs reblocking thanks to a too small box it has been crushed and stored in for years.
I’ve been holding on to a Schoble hat box hoping one would turn up for me, but they’re rare so I guess I’ll sell it to the client.
