I really like this hat Brent. The color is great. I have a silver belly fedora Rick made for me that looks, in shape, much as yours in this pic. I will be glad when Rick starts making hats again. I’ll get one even if it is an “off the rack” hat!

1/4 two ply grosgrain ribbon

Woah Nelly! This is one big hat! Custom Made Western from Fox Hats in St Paul, Minnesota... probably made by Langenberg/Beaver Brands. A super sharp crease in this one. Not sure the age... my guess late 60s early 70s. It is a firm stiff full on Western. Real nice shape over all.. just a few tan spots under the brim.. other than that real clean. A bit out of my comfort zone in styling and size.. but one cool hat for sure.

Today turned out, unexpectedly, to be a three hat day. First was the Snowy River for car washing duties (see previous post). After Etsuko finished work, we took a stroll in the park to see the cherry blossoms. Just 5 minutes walk from our house is one of Wakayama’s more famous places for the blossoms. I wore my Cattleman.

With the blossoms in full bloom, we decided to have dinner at the restaurant in the park.

I wore my Stetson Custom V and Etsuko a Maxim beret.

Today turned out, unexpectedly, to be a three hat day. First was the Snowy River for car washing duties (see previous post).
