Stetson Pinnacle in mink.
Fantastic hat SteveAnton Peschel Neutitschein (APN) possibly mid 1930s late 1920s. This is the only Anton Peschel Neutitschein Stiff Felt I have and as far as I know the only one here on the FL. I don't believe I have encountered another one.
Anton Peschel Neutitschein (APN) Hat Holder possibly mid 1930s late 1920s.
The above APN Stiff Felt has the same APN Crest.
Thanks Dave! Seems like there should be a comma in there though ... (not that there's anything wrong with that).
Now I need to find a blue one to match your other Sweet Gay Prince ... Dave!
Joe, Thank you! Your Royal Crest "Fine Quality" looks great! I also like Mystery Hats . I have good many of them and on the rare a occasion I am able to solve a mystery. It usually happens totally by accident.Fantastic hat Steve
Great hat! and Great cat! I've got a Sly, too. He's a tuxedo, and come to think of it, that looks a lot like a Stetson western I picked up a few summers ago. Nice.Late 40s "San All" 3X, 6 1/2 x 4", 53 block, no taper ; )
Substantial yet luscious felt that reminds me both of an old Nutria western I have and of both my RD Westerns. Wear this around all day then put on an OR? Feels like you're wearing a stingy. Sly's been with us since he was 7 weeks old. He'll be 17 on Mother's Day. Good Cat.

That Optimo camel is a really nice looking color!

Thanks Steve.... most of these nine are only a mystery in that I had no idea what would be in the box. I’m just having a bit of fun with the reveal. This one though does double as also being an unknown brand.Joe, Thank you! Your Royal Crest "Fine Quality" looks great! I also like Mystery Hats . Great looking hatDecided on a 50’s 3X today. Really like this hat. Brim not too big but big enough, and a comfortably hat to wear.

Cool photosStetson Baldwin. Messing around in my bedroom studio. Very light beaver felt, and a bit large, so padded to fit. The tapered crown necessitates brim up.

I alternate between two modern Stratoliners, the low-priced Strat in silver belly that is sort of pinkish, and the Pure (beaver) in alabaster. My fancier hats including Borsalinos, Beaver Brand customs, and Brass Rooster customs, stay in the hat closet. I still need to cover my head, but feel too depressed to get flashy with my nicer hats.
I did start wearing my Open Road with a slight brim modification every once in a while.
(Unlike others, I happen to like a good block and a stiffer hat with a brim that has a good snap.)
Not a fan of the virus culture we have now....
