Switched my bike over to studded snow tires this morning while my head was warmed by this Peterson of Stockholm fur cap

Went out for an 80 minute ride, with ample extra time for bench sitting and watching the geese and eagles fly over. Then a little work around the yard in this Open Road

The weather decided to take up sleeting, so I'm retiring to the house for the rest of the day

Have a good evening,

Love the grey OR. You don’t see that color very often in an OR.

It's a lovely color. And a bit of a chameleon at times. It's very gray under today's gray skies, but some sunny days it takes on a bit of green and the ribbon a bit of bronze. One of my favorites for sure, though at this time of year the fur cap probably logs more hours on the head than all of my hats combined. Gotta love me some earflaps out in the cold.

Thanks,
Michael

This mid/late 50s Whippet came to me in the mail on Christmas Eve.
Nice present to myself.
I’ve been looking for one for a Loooong time—that wasn’t over priced. $153 is just right.
I can merely assume the reasons only one other bidder was interested was because the 2 1/2” brim width wasn’t in the description and the camera angle made the brim look narrow.
I was totally shocked when the last seconds ticked down and 10 other bidders didn’t jump in!

It’s a pedestrian, Un-extraordinary brown Whippet.
Nothing special, but it finally eases a ten year itch that I haven’t been able to scratch. A Christmas miracle!
It’s not mint, but darn close.
Makes me a happy collector. I’ve got a light brown Hanover Square that looks very similar. I’ll be posting a photo of them side by side soon.
Two white whales that I have finally reeled in!

Afternoon outside enjoying watching the neighborhood hawks working on their dinner. I was wearing a vtg. Stetson Scoop. The 30's fedora dimensions have been peaking my interests of late.

I tip my mug (Colombian Coffee (single origin & medium roast) with a splash of 12% butter fa half and half ) in your direction.

Cheers, Eric -
Very, very nice, Eric!
Haven’t seen, or heard tell of a Scoop.
A scoop of ice has adorned it well.

Great catch, very good price. I think it looks very good dude, nothing special except it’s a whippet, right? Congrats.

Great looking Campdraft, ET. And not far different from my OR of today.

Black Royal Stetson again today. I think this is my wife’s favorite hat.

Thanks ET. It's a 50s/early 60s model. Keyhole size tag.
