What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

That is one heck of a quadra-teeny, Stefan - marvelous hats, all.
Thank you, Alan. I've found that over a third of all my hats are from Italy. A good number of hard-hitters are still to come. A bit like the one you were wearing!

I like the gray one you called Alessandria. Not usually a fan of braided hat bands, but that one looks great!
Thanks, Randall. I have considered taking it off actually, but it does works for this one and it is something different.

All I can say is WOW. All three. That Barbisio though... Also, that Antilope though! My kind of colors.
Thanks, Jeff. Colours was something the Italians certainly knew how to do!

That Alessandria is very cool
Thanks, Joe.

Thanks Stefan. I'm liking that Rat Gondin a lot. And, to echo Jeff, the colors on the Antelope are very nice. Hard to think it's wool from looking at the felt.

Thanks,
Michael
Thanks, Michael. Wool was a specialty of the hatters from Monza.

Good to have some long-hair hat weather to wear that one. Michael. If the forecasts are to be trusted we'll be having some suitable weather here next week as well.

Very nice, Perry.

Is it really that purple, Max?

A lucky hat for the superstitious... a first generation Stetson Stratoliner, c.1942.

I keep having problems with the pictures in your posts, Alan. Which is a shame because I'm missing all the best hats that way.

What a great week, Stefan. Hard to choose a favourite. I love them all, but I'm a sucker for an Antelope finish.
Looking forward to next week :)
Thanks, Steve. The week isn't over yet.
Stefan, Thank you! Great series of hats from you! The Barbisio "Rat Gondin" is especially superb!
Thanks, Steve!

Rockel "Velourette" possibly late 1950s and a recent arrival.

Beautiful hat. I really like the blue hue to the grey felt. And the ribbon is gorgeous of course.

Nice parade of hats, Joe. The Borsalino Ceasar cleaned up nice and the Adam is a stunner.

Another beauty, Steve. Great finds.

Looking good, Reggie.

It's been a while since I actually snapped a photo and logged in, but if it comes through, today I was wearing my reblocked former Stetson New York. Never did get the brim finished quite right.

Yes, the image function is not working correctly in Google Chrome. The images do upload and display fine in Safari. Here are the links to the most recent post. Nothing you haven't seen before... ;^)

Personally I was getting used to the record high temps of last week. At this time of year something around 72 is a record, t was very comfortable. Downright wintry today. So another long hair will show up.

It has been too long since I posted my sartorial expeditions into the Covid wasteland. Today's foray to the Safeway Thunder dome called for a vintage hand painted late 50s tie and my custom Black Cherry fedora from Mike Miller at NW Hats. The gray blazer is a Goodwill snag and my navy Ferragamo brogue oxfords were fished out of the 'bay. For some reason, I was the only person in the store wearing this level of couture, I just don't understand...
