What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

I was swimming my 500 meter backstroke in pretty choppy water with a southerly wind yesterday day when I saw a 737 fly low overhead heading for the airport a few miles to the south. Strange sight as they only take this approach when the wind is out of the South, and then I remembered that I haven't seen many planes at all for quite a few months. The tourists are back.

I don't see many people wearing grey where I am, I mean there are folks who wear hats but they are all different variations of just light browns but most are light sandy colours. Gets really boring but I guess it's because of the heat/sun.

Been a while. Akubra Federation Deluxe III. I knocked the crown out to a C. That’s the way it started before I sold my old Indy style Federation from 2001 and needed another Indy style. Fulls out the crown a little.

Starting to snow today. May be breaking out my winter Art Fawcett VS soon.

Forgive the clashing purple, I’ve been experimenting with a “new” sewing machine and different stitch types. That’s my expendable fabric. Thanks for the likes yesterday, and always. Borsalino Extra Superiore on this overcast day. The name on the label says Amiata. I'm guessing it refers to the colour. Mount Amiata is part of a lava dome range of mountains in Tuscany. The grey/purple colour of it is in line with the colour of this Borsa.
