Barbecue, beer and a whiskey coloured hat; life's not so bad after all, Alan.
It told me so, Max. Didn't I tell you I'm a hat whisperer?
Some of the more prolific German manufacturers, like Mayser and Wegener, produced a great many hats under various brands, probably on contract for wholesale companies or large retailers. Usually these were brought on the market under "posh" sounding names, like Windsor, Princeton, Carlton or under the retailers'house brand name. This one was sold through Konen Bekleidingshaus of Munich. And the label used with the distinct blue border isn't something we see on hats made in other countries. So it all adds up to the conclusion it's German made.
Good to see you, John. It's not Coleridge or Tennyson, but Mom can be proud!
Saved the best for last, eh? Exceptional looking felt. Wow!
Nice!
I'm looking at both the hats and the collection of face masks on display these days, David. I like both! Cool pics as always.
Great Gannon, Eric. Love these colours.
Yes! Always a joy to see that one, Michael.
Whoa, that's some crown on that hat, Perry. Impressive.
Thank you, Stefan
