Popping my head up for a moment in my favorite Stratoliner. It’s been nothing but beaters for fine tuning the property for two months. First time out in the weird world.

Great looking Strat (and yard) Rockwater! Good to see you stop by the Lounge.

I need to trade off the Strat that my wife never wears for one that fits me -- that is a gap in my collection.

Our property was not really fine tuned, but was looking pretty good until Monday afternoon when a little ol' EF2 decided to visit. Wearing an Akubra Cattleman while thinking over my options for over 70 downed pine trees.

Hello all! I have been packing away the felts, and while I was fiddling around, I kept playing with this one, so I guess I’ll keep it out for a while.

With the weather reports I've been hearing, you east coast folks should keep a felt or two handy to keep the snow off! Love this look on you.

Another interesting one Stefan. That brim looks wafer thin. Great lines and color.

Yesterday was Stetson day. I wore my Stratoliner to a meeting. The in the afternoon I wore a lower end vented Stetson for yard work. I didn’t get a picture of it. I rolled my ankle while working on my lawn sprinklers. I might be hobbling around for a couple of days, but at least my yard will look good. :)

Oh no! I hope you are not limping for long. The hat looks great too!

It's a public holiday here in Denmark, so I'm strolling around in my funky Borsalino. I never get tired of this one View attachment 233647 :)
Wow! That is one interesting Borso Steve. Is it a heavy dress weight felt? That stitching really stands out.

I know the days are all running together, but I didn't realize it was Whippet Wednesday today. Sure looks good on a Friday though. Or is it Monday again???

This Canadian gray hat was up for a trip to the grocery store.

Cheers on a cold morning.

Be safe, be strong and see you on the street soon, Eric -
Great hats for a cool days. Love that Avenue. My vita-felt is an Avenue. Is this one a 1950s example?

I have just recently resurfaced myself. Great looking Strat, cool details under the sweat. Love it!

Windy and cold today. At least the sun is currently showing up.

Have a great Friday,

That Resistol sure has some great lines. I have put away all the winter stuff, we are in the high 80s for the next couple of days. Snow in the East, sure is weird.

Day 8 of 31 Hat Parade: The Black Homburg. It is hard to pick one to highlight, I have so many (too many?), I blame Stefan! Another German made Homburg sold in one of the large department stores in Europe, Lodenfrey. Large stores could have their name printed in the liner and sweat bands so it is hard to tell the brand name of made this one. Probably manufactured in the late 1950s.

Thanks Bob, it’s quite easy to fine tune an acre and a half. However, what you’re dealing with is another matter. Maybe build a log cabin?

Thank you, Steve. No label in this hat. The model name could be "Durit". View attachment 233632
Stefan, Thanks! "Durit" goes back to JHS but I couldn't find any Weilheim hats with this mark on the liner or sweatband (inside or out). I might have missed one of yours. I don't have any record of "Elefant" but it might be related to the felt color being similar to the color of an Elephant.
