J. Hückel´s Söhne were famous for Velour Soft Felt Hats but their Stiff Felt Hats were also very popular. This week I will feature J. Hückel´s Söhne Stiff Felt Hats.

This is my final entry of the week but I actually have a few more J. Hückel´s Söhne Stiff Felt Hats. :)

J. Hückel´s Söhne "Plume", 125 grams possibly early 1930s. The liner has A. Breiter München which is a famous München Hat retailer that is still in business today. A light weight Stiff Felt and that is somewhat flexible so wears almost like a Soft Felt. Great form and interesting bow design. Also in excellent condition.

30 Days to 30 Hats - Day 26
Royal Stetson Musketeer

View attachment 230823

Royal Stetson Musketeer
Extra light pale blue felt
4 3/4 Crown as bashed (almost 5 1/2 open)
Stunning 1 5/8 Duo-Tone Maroon and Silver Ribbon
2 1/2 brim with silver grosgrain bringing and triple stitching
2 inch brown sweatband

What a better way to brighten up a gloomy stormy rainy day than with a special hat like the Royal Stetson Musketeer. Everything about this hat screams wow! From its beautiful light pale blue felt that is extra thin soft and moldable to its super cool and very unique duo-tone ribbon design. This special hat came my way off a much appreciated tip by fellow lounger @DaveProc.

That is one snazzy fedora!!! Has cool name, too.
Yeah, Joe. Close to the close of a long campaign. Used to have 31 hats when this started. Thanks to finding good deals or great hats, I could now go another six days.

Started the daily Corona Crawl down the hill and along the coastal path late today wearing my Vaunatu woven Pandanus Cowboy hat by Hats By Rosie Boylan, along with a Monsivais Wabash Cotton mask. By the time I got to my local beach the lifeguards had gone home, along with most of the surfers. I swam out past the breakers where the surfers usually hang out and floated over some pretty big waves. Shaka Bra!

French week over all ready? I enjoyed seeing the hats grouped. Thanks.

Glorious cap. Thanks for sharing a dose of the Hawaiian "pretty nice" weather and scenery.

Yesterday afternoon's escapades were done in a Stetson Bantam. Home and the sprinkles from passing showers were warning me to get inside under cover.

This morning dog soirree in a VS fedora. This thin ribboned sage beaver felt was inspired by the Stetson Stratoliner.

Be safe, be strong and see you on the streets soon,Eric -
Thank you, Eric. These themed posts are fun to do. Wish I had some more French hats to show. I'm starting a different country today, which will take several weeks to finish.
Very nice hats you've posted here. I especially like the Stetson Bantam with its mid-ribbon.

Wonderful hat Stefan.. goes great with the corduroy jacket
Thanks, Joe. Wish all my hats were like this one.

Thanks Joe.

Thanks Alan

Thanks Randy. It's a good one to wear.

Thanks Stefan.

Very nice Tirard.

Thanks all,
Michael
Thank you, Michael.

I really like that one, Michael. The colours just work for me.

I'm losing track of time and the days. Wore my Randall converted Resistol Western the other day. I think it may have been the same day as some fellow loungers were sporting their Resistols.
I really love the dimensions on this one. Gets some looks, too. You did a good job, buddy :)

Very nice, Steve. Makes me want to look for my Resitols as well.

Stefan, Thanks! Fantastic Berteil Beaver from you today. Great lines / form! Also thank for the Great French Hat Series!.
Thank you, Steve. Fun to do. Another country starting this week.

Hermoso, Stefan
Gracias, Max!

Superb, MAx. Out of the stack of 100's this one speaks to me a lot.

Made an escape rope out of toilet paper (yes, we have enough and are not hoarding) and scaled the parapet walls. Trip out for supplies, both folks and us. Kind of an autumnal look, in this sunshine, but I'm trying not to repeat ensembles. Knox Stratoliner clone fedora from the mid-1950s along with a 1950s tie. Brown blazer and my Christmas gift vest/pocket watch. First outing for my new Italian racing oxfords made by Zetin. $300 shoes for $13 bucks from "the Bay."

50s Dobbs. Wide bound on top, less on bottom. Tag says it sold for a mere $10. A cheapie. :) View attachment 230809

A wonderful series of hats, Steve. And documents! I've noticed before that the bow designs on those earlier hats are often very simple.

Very cool ribbon and binding accents
Thanks Joe. That last Stetson you showed is a real gem.

I love those colors, especially in the sunlight.
Thanks Jonesy. I like the bit of grey in the felt.
