But that's what you are, my friend.
Thanks too for providing me with the one and only hat (so far) that has a feather in it. I call it my Mallory Yankee-Doodle :)
Thanks, Steve
Great name!! Great hat!
Guess one might say it’s a Dandy!
I now have two with a feather. It’s growing on me, though I doubt there will be others sprouting feathers.

My seventh day of self quarantine caused me to wonder how Amon Carter might be having his staff cover these times we’re living in. A shot of the Shady Oak from the cave. I hope you all are well and keeping yourself and others safe.

That's a photo that sure lights up these days of darkness, Stefan.

I think that could well be a Fedora Lounge hat challenge, friends. Put together your hats that non hat people think look the same but aren't, take, and then post a photo.

I know what I'll be doing Saturday.

Stay well all!!
But that is ALL my hats from Stingy brim, to western, to fedora....NON-Hat people think they are all the same. Only Top hats and Derbys stand out to them from my other hats......and often they confuse the two...I have actually had people compliment my "Top Hat" when I am wearing a derby and my "Derby" when I am wearing a topper...:eek::eek::eek::rolleyes:

Good to see hatted and enjoying life with an adult ice cream treat. (No stick in a Klondike bars—the creator, Henry Isaly, thought frozen treats with a wooden handle = kiddie. He aimed for a more mature audience. No stick and packaged the bars in a fancy silver foil wrapper.)

Be safe, be strong and see you back on the streets, Eric-

I love this kind of back story, thank you Eric! And they’re YUMMY, too!

Is that a Washburn?
Whatever it is it looks well used. And if you’re self quarantining; that box is likely to get some more cool abuse.
Bob Dylan style, by the looks of it.
:)

No, sir it’s a Washer Bros.

Sorry, Randall. I’ve had few to interact with and be a smartass to over these last few days. It’s a R.I. made, Guild DV6.
Sorry for dissing your dreadnaught Guild. I like the rosette.
Man, and I was going to ask if it was a Guild first, since it shares a similar styled pick guard with a Washer bros...I mean, Washburn. :)
The bridge made me think otherwise, for whatever reason.
Year model?
I’ve played a few Guilds. Nice axes.

Like? Naw. I love that green hat!
I also like that beautifully tan Stephen L. Stetson you posted in that name sake’s thread years ago...but I only just got around to reading it.
I recently acquired one and it’s an early 40s 7 1/8 sized older gorgeous sister to yours. Wish it fit me, but alas, my head is too thick. :)
Thanks Randall! I'm lucky to have found them, especially the Stetson in that color. :)
The SLS is indeed a wonderful old hat, very Whippet-y in it's dimensions and trim, but I would have to say superior in quality to the Stetson. Shame yours is too small for you, but what great trading fodder it will make!
