I chose a Beaver Hat for today with the same aft bow treatment, and will share it later when I get off the laptop and switch to the phone.

Thanks H&R. Since I had the ribbon off to do other work on the hat I thought I would try it with a bit of a trailing bow to see how I liked it.

Took my first purchase of the year out in a storm for a christening. Not too sure what it is, but I like the color. The felt seemed like crinkled cardboard after getting crunched in the mail, thin and fairly stiff. It softened up a bit from the sea spray and rain.

Interesting Beaver Hats trailing ribbon today. Metal ribbon, underwelt medium brim and cony felt that changes color in different lighting ... from charcoal to blue to blue/green.
I need to work on the flange a little and put the wind cord button back on.
