What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

Just realized I never posted my normal Sunday morning pictures. Just too much happened last Sunday morning. One person I know was murdered (along with a second person) and another acquaintance shot the murderer. All while in worship. At least it was stopped fast.

Anyway, I was wearing a Knox Twenty at my congregation while all this was happening about 20 minutes away.

Last shopping errands completed in a Best Dressed Head cap.

Working the outside grill this morning in a vtg.Stetson Playboy.

Warning: No hat content pic below. While waiting to flip the buffalo ribs I filled the bird feeders. I was reminded how nice it is to have a companion in my morning escapades. Ribs are on his breakfast menu I think. Happy New Year to Tio (my Port.Water Dog).

If I miss, Happy New Year Fedora Lounge folks. I give thanks for all of your forum sharing and companionship. I do truly enjoy visiting and sharing hat adventures with you all. Be safe and enjoy the New Year festivities.

That was a terrible senseless act of violence. I had no idea you were so close and knew the victims and the hero Jack Wilson. Thank God for Jack or it could have been much worse.

In solidarity with Bill Hughes I wore my example of what $20 would get you in the 1950s. My Dobbs Twenty is very similar to Bill's only less brimmed. Love this hat, I would date it to the latter 1950s. A time when you could go into a hat shop and have the clerk "fit" a hat to your face/build. Much like Bill has determined about wider brim widths he wears exclusively. I want to wish everyone a very Happy New Year, may your 2020 be full of beautiful hats!

I do have a few narrow brims I wear on occasion.

Wore the Tatton again today for a bit. Was trying to get a good shot showing the colors of this hat, they are very lush and chamois like. Moss & Chocolate. This ones doesn't show as purple or strobe in my computer screen, so maybe I got the lighting right this time.
