Thanks, gentlemen. The Flagship is still in transit (it is a ship after all and not an airplane like the stratoliner) and was very generously sent my way by a fellow member, who kindly took the role of hatsanta.

As fine a lineup of hats as i’ve seen around here in a while Stefan. Two or three Top Ten’s in there.
Is the Angora, a favorite of mine, a Gorasgu? Did it go to Mike, @Redfokker?
Maybe i misunderstood but are you getting the Flagship or just dreaming of it cause...i know a guy...
They are all exquisite hats Stefan but in my mind, on the outside the Stetson bows to the Borsa but wins on the inside.

That's one fine hat, Cuz! Does the felt have a little blue-ish tint...or is it just picking it up from the accessories? Either way, it's the perfect hat AND day for doing what you're doing. I just got back home from the lake wearing a far more plainly hued 4X OR and I think I might indulge in a little of the same.

edit: This is a different OR than what I wore yesterday, but that doesn't mean I have any kind of hat buying habit or anything like that.

Thanks, Cuz. It’s it’s one of the most uniquely hued felts I have. Lighting conditions can make it appear from a near baby blue to an almost medium gray.

To continue the presentation of hats with special felt finishes here is an Italian old hat from the mountain

Cervo Super Bantam size 59 or 7 3/8 in US

The color of the felt, finished with a short and soft quality hair, is "Lauro" while the finishing of the felt is called "Loden" with a fancy ribbon in velour

The hats produced by the "Cappellificio Cervo" with their brand are always pleasant surprises. One is this, you will see others the next days

Sold in Taranto in the deep South of Italy, they are a perfect remnant of the golden age of Italian headwear
