OK, fine. December must be the black month. Here is a black Clearwater derby that I wore yesterday, and you guys talked me into it: the hefty black Boswell poker. I didn’t have time to light up yesterday, so the pipe is just posing.

With considerable delay, the cold arrived after a very long fall outside the norm.
We went two degrees below zero tonight. In the middle of the day it was pretty good

Cervo Loden, a recent arrival, is the hat of the day

The felt, marked Super Bantam, finished with a medium fur is certainly a mixture because in its surfacethree colors are present: majority green, straw color and some red hints

The hat is antique with the paper label written completely by hand, it is unlined, only with a patch in the crown

One of the best 2019 purchase in my list of "new" hats

I used to buy my Panama hats at Hanny's in the early 80's. It was a great store and the building has had an interesting history since it's closing in 86.
"Following a short vacancy, the city purchased the building, and for many years had it repeatedly set afire for the training of city firefighters."
The last I heard, the building is still home to Hanny's Restaurant.
